Youth wrestlers shine at 2025 SDWCA State Tournament, three crowned State Champs

The 2025 SDWCA State Youth Wrestling Tournament took place March 28-30 at the Summit Arena in Rapid City.
Over 1700 wrestlers from across the state competed for State Titles. Lennox Youth Wrestling brought 10 of those wrestlers.
Qualifying for the State Tournament were Tharyn Schmidt, Tryden Lentini, Cason Zens, Jase Thoms, RJ VandeHoef, Tenley Sturm, Noah Ramirez, Nika Rasmussen, Rosearia Rohrer, and Grant Larson.
Eight wrestlers made it to the podium.
Rosearia Rohrer, Grant Larson, and Cason Zens were all crowned Champions of their divisions. This is the third consecutive State Title for Zens. RJ VandeHoef received third place honors. Tenley Sturm placed fourth. Nika Rasmussen placed fifth. Tharyn Schmidt and Jase Thoms finished in sixth place. Derek Schmidt, Ethan Kanable, and Matt Hanson coached the Lennox Youth Wrestlers.
