Worthing Days, June 21-23

Blow the dust off your classic car,  and bring it to Worthing next Friday, June 21 as Worthing Days 2024 kicks-off with their annual Car Show beginning at 6 p.m. on Main Street. The event draws at least 70 cars. There’s no fee to park on Main Street. There will be a DJ and food during the event. All proceeds go toward building a new community center.

Worthing Days fun continues with the 5K and Mile Fun run on Saturday, June 22 beginning at 7:30 a.m. And what is a celebration without a parade? The Worthing Days parade begins at 9:30 a.m. 

Following the parade head on down to the park by 3rd Street and Cedar Street where you can enjoy a dunk tank, games, kids’ inflatables, kids’ pedal pull, and a vendor fair. At 1 p.m. the Worthing Fire Department will host Hose Hockey with the kids and at 2 p.m. bingo will be played. 

Beginning at 1 p.m. a Bean Bag Tournament will be held on Main Street, sponsored by Boondocks Bar. 

From 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. a Street Dance will be held on Main Street, sponsored by Kim’s Korner Bar. The Street Dance will feature music by The Band Mud. 

On Sunday, June 23 Church will be held at the Rec Center. Beginning at 11:30 a.m. a Sand Volleyball Tournament will be held at the Rec Center. And at 11:30 a.m. the fun concludes with a kids’ scavenger hunt.
