Taco Vault brings artisan tacos, craft beer, and local art

Worthing, SD – Taco Vault has opened at 108 S Main Street in Worthing, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Friday, November 22 at 10 a.m. to celebrate this exciting new addition to the community.

Owners Dean Marshall, known for The Big Orange Truck, and Austin Metivier have transformed a historic bank building into a unique destination for artisan tacos, craft beer, and community events. Dean says, “our goal is to make Taco Vault a must-visit for families, friends, and food lovers alike.” The restaurant’s theme draws from its setting in a former bank, with the original vault cleverly repurposed as a drink station. Marshall’s and Metivier’s shared vision is to create a space that highlights local flavors and builds community connections.

Five of the six taps will offer craft beer selections, with the sixth reserved for Coors Light to meet community preferences. The drink menu includes bottled and canned options like sour, pale ale, and IPA beers, as well as ciders and new THC beverages.

Taco Vault also provides the Worthing community with an event space equipped with tables, a bar, a stage, and entertainment options like board and arcade games. Worthing Economic Development Corporation board member Scott DeWitt is excited for the new addition stating, “Dean and Austin have done an amazing job with the building after all the challenges they faced during the renovation and remodel. It will be a great place for people in the community and the surrounding area to gather, eat some great food, have a beer, and spend time with their family and friends.” Dean and Austin are open to hosting any event the community desires as well as hosting their own trivia nights and live entertainment. Keep up to date with Taco Vault by visiting their Facebook or TikTok pages @TacoVault.

Taco Vault will be open Monday – Thursday 10am – 9pm, Friday & Saturday 9am – 11pm, and Sunday 9am – 9pm.
