The Lennox Commercial Club is once again hosting their annual Santa Night at the Lennox Intermediate Cafetorium on Monday, Dec. 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. The community is invited to attend for a meal, to view the Christmas trees on display by local businesses, buy tickets for basket raffles and, of course, share their Christmas wish lists with Santa.
The free will donation meal being served that night will consist of pork loin sandwiches or a hot dog. Those in attendance can vote for their favorite tree and decorations provided by elementary classes. New this year will be a basket raffle. You can purchase tickets and place them in the basket you hope to win. And when your children share their Christmas wishes with the Man in Red, they will also receive the annual Holiday Coloring Book along with a goody bag.
The Holiday Coloring Book is a special project, organized by The Lennox Independent and Tea Weekly newspapers that features illustrations drawn by local high school artists.
Illustrators chosen for the 2022 Holiday Coloring Book from Lennox High School include: Abby Roeder, Addison Waldner, Madalyn Albers, Madison Stengrim, Briana Slack, Brooke Nelson, Rhett Jibben, Madyson Davey, Riley Nelson, Ellianna Thill, Lillian Meyer, Makinleigh Wallenstein, Emarie Wolf, Emily Wynja, Lacey Beens, Krimzon Summers, and Maria Nelson.
Coloring books will also be sent home with students in Preschool through 4th grade.
