Quarterback Boston Katzer received the prestigious All-American Honor, which is awarded to the best player in Class 11A.
LHS Head Coach Shawn Flanagan praised Katzer’s impact on the field and leadership qualities.
“[Boston is] a two-time captain who was as tough as nails on the field and the ultimate competitor and leader,” said Flanagan.
Flanagan also expressed pride in the entire team for their numerous accolades.
“[They are] tough and hard working, they earned everything they got because of how hard they worked,” he said. “Proud of the players because of how much we demanded from them and how hard practices were. It takes tough kids to be able to show up to work each day and give their best. It takes grit to be able to do that day in and day out. This team has a lot of grit, and that’s what won those games. Grit and the willingness to put the team first.”
Lennox’s outstanding representation in both All-State and All-Conference lists reflects the hard work, dedication, and teamwork demonstrated throughout the season.
