The Lennox High School girl’s tennis teams traveled to Tomar Park in Sioux Falls on Aug. 29 to take on Sioux Falls Christian.
The varsity match started with doubles where the team had some back-and-forth points and competitive games, but the Orioles weren’t able to pull out a win.
After doubles, Lennox moved into singles, where again they competed hard, but unfortunately, they dropped all six matches, which gave the Chargers a 9-0 varsity win.
In Junior Varsity action, the team had some competitive matches that came down to the wire, but dropped the team match 3-12 with wins scored by Miliyah Hofer in singles, and wins in doubles by the duos of Kenzie Gilland and Effie Wildeboer and Paxton Dubbelde and LIly Kezar.
Next up the Orioles travel to McKennan Park to take on O’Gorman on Wednesday Sept. 6 and then travel to Milbank to on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
