Another positive COVID-19 test in South Dakota brings total to 10




The South Dakota Department of Health (SD-DOH) has updated the number of positive COVID-19 cases in South Dakota to 10 this morning (March 16, 2020). Negative tests are at 494.


South Dakota counties with COVID-19 cases:

Beadle — 1

Bon Homme — 1

Charles Mix — 1

Davison — 1

McCook — 1

Minnehaha — 4

Pennington — 1


According to SD-DOH all cases had travel history outside South Dakota prior to illness onset. There is no community transmission at this time.
